Hi, I’m Vasundhara Deshmukh, and I’ve discovered that my paintbrush is my best conversationalist. Diagnosed with epilepsy back in 11th grade, I found that words often fell short of capturing my inner world. Painting became my language when I realized that sometimes, you need more than just words to express what’s in your heart. With a Bachelor’s in Business Administration and a Master’s in Project Management, you could say I’ve navigated quite a few different landscapes. But art? Art has been my true map and compass.
I’m a self-taught artist who relocated to London for my Master’s, and let me tell you, being away from home has been like trying to find Wi-Fi in the middle of a desert. It was in this bustling city that I reconnected with painting as a way to process life’s ups and downs. It felt like I had been handed a paintbrush and had my vocabulary erased a cosmic joke or a divine gift, depending on the day.
I used to dabble in painting, but it wasn’t until London that I started using it as a daily practice. I began to paint my emotions, the struggles of those around me, and the complexities of living with epilepsy. Through each stroke, I learned to navigate these feelings and gain a deeper understanding of them. I find that my paintbrush is the only tool that allows me to speak my truth without fear – and, believe me, the truth can sometimes be a heavy load.
In essence, my art is my truth, my therapy, and my greatest adventure. It’s where I’m unafraid to lay bare my soul and find a little humour in the chaos. So, join me on this colourful journey, where every painting is a step toward understanding and a testament to the enduring spirit of expression.

I am here to create, to make a difference, to leave a lasting impression. Limited edition prints that each tell a piece of my story will be released. I'll provide unadulterated, unrefined original stuff. I'll be there to support other artists as they forge their own route through the uncharted. And I'll build a gallery someday, a vibrant place for voices that won't be suppressed. This is a promise, not simply a plan. We are gradually creating something remarkable.
